A Little About Me
I’m Melinda York and I first began freelancing web design in 1997 while majoring in Computer Information Systems in college. I decided to teach myself HTML and JavaScript, this was back in the day when Notepad was the preferred HTML editor.
- In 1998, I started my own company, Elite Web Designs.
- In 1999 I began a career in the IT department at a large company in Cincinnati, Ohio. My web design business took a back seat. I did however take on a few clients through the years and maintained several sites.
- After an 11 year career in corporate America, I decided to quit my job and do freelancing exclusively. This would also make me more accessible for my new position as a Mom
New technology and web services are my passions. I have re-branded my business as York Web Services. I am launching many new services such as Content Management System sites that give clients the ability to update their own content.
With over 20 years of experience in web design and services, I have the knowledge to help add value to your business. I enjoy working with all types of clients and creating web sites.
